At Southborough Sudbury Orthodontics, we are committed to providing the highest level of orthodontic care to our patients. We believe that everyone deserves a healthy, beautiful smile, and we work hard to make that a reality for each and every one of our patients.
Meet Dr. Gabi
Dr. Gabriella Marquez (a.k.a., Dr. Gabi) is originally from Venezuela and has been internationally trained in dentistry, achieving her first dental degree from the Central University of Venezuela, in Caracas in April of 1996. Shortly after, she and her husband relocated to the United States. She was accepted at Boston University where she graduated second in her class and attained her second dental degree from the Goldman School of Dental Medicine in May of 2003. At graduation, Dr. Marquez was awarded "High Honors" as well as The International Congress of Oral Implantologists Award and was inducted as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society .
She was immediately accepted into the Orthodontic Program at Boston University and attained her Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics degree and her Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Orthodontics in May of 2006.
Since her graduation and until 2022 , she was on staff as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Orthodontic department at Boston University. She has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists since 2007 and has lectured several times locally and in Italy on Temporary Anchorage Devices as well as The Bidimensional Technique. She maintains active memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Board of Orthodontists and the Italian Society of Bidimensional Technique (SITEBI).
Dr. Gaby is mostly available in both offices, Sudbury and Southborough.
Meet Dr. Gigi
Dr. Judith Oropeza (a.k.a., Dr. Gigi) graduated from Boston University where she obtained her certificate in advance graduate studies in Orthodontics and dental facial orthopedics, with a Masters in science for dentistry. She also obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree with high honors. Judith is also a Diplomate of the Board of Orthodontics (the highest achievement in Orthodontics, which is voluntary and only a small percentage of Orthodontists pursue).
Dr. Gigi was not only Dr. Gabi's student at Boston University but are countrymen from Caracas, Venezuela and distant cousins!! Both doctors practice the same orthodontic technique (Dr. Gianelly’s Bidimensional technique) which will ensure a smooth continuity of treatment for all patients.
Dr. Gigi will be working mostly in the Southborough office as well as occasionally in the Sudbury office providing coverage when needed.
